For Thing 8, please write a blog entry on anything technology related ! That’s right, anything! Just share a few thoughts in your blog post. You could write about something you find in your feed or a recent news article about technology, a cool site you learned about recently. Anything!
Since online communities are about communication and connecting, be sure to take a look at The Participants page. Check out what your colleagues are blogging about and make at least one comment.
In case anyone hasn't found it yet, there is a way to have comments that people leave on your blog sent to your email account, too. From your blog, select Customize > Settings > Comments. All the way down at the bottom of the screen is the Comment Notification Emails box.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sharon. I did that. As it happens, it was my sister's husband, Larry Philbrick, who had family in Rye, NH. Her name is Mary Brown and she was the Director of the Rye Free Reading Room in the late 70's and early 80's. She moved on to Plattsburg, NY, and has since retired to the Adirondacks. Someone might remember her, though.
